Branch Libraries Task Force

Function:

This group will network and discuss items dealing with branch libraries and their relationship to the Main Library to make a more cohesive library system on campus. The group will work on ways to provide the best service to all patrons.

Membership:

Branch library managers, branch librarians, reference associate, and the associate director. All meetings are open meetings.

Facilitator:

Branch library managers will serve as facilitator on a rotating basis for a period of one year with elections at the August meeting. Facilitator responsibilities:

• Act as discussion leader and secretary
• Prepare and distribute meeting agenda via library listserve
• Reserve meeting room
• Record minutes and distribute via library listserve and x-drive.

Meetings:

Held in August and January, or as needed, at a place and time designated by the facilitator.
